PSG College of Technology to Utilise PTC Product Development System to Educate Engineers PTC to provide Engineering Software & Training

Bangalore: PTC (NASDAQ: PMTC), The Product Development Company®, and PSG College of Technology today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) whereby PSG will utilise PTC’s Product Development System to train engineering students and customers . This marks the first time an educational institution in India has adopted PTC’s Product Development System, and reflects the strong and expanding 10 year old relationship between PTC and PSG.
PTC’s Product Development System allows organisations to Create detailed digital product information, Collaborate with distributed project teams, customers, suppliers, and partners, Control content and automate processes, Configure content to match products and services and Communicate with people and other business applications

Under the terms of this agreement, PTC will provide a comprehensive range of computer aided design, manufacturing, engineering and product lifecycle management software, as well as a full time PTC faculty member to train PSG students in the use and application of the Product Development System. Upon completing the stipulated hours of training, students will be certified by PTC and PSG.
