Murder of lover, body cut into 300 pieces
The Mumbai Police arrested Mysore-based Kannada small time starlet Maria Monica Susairaj in Mumbai on Tuesday and her lover Jerome Mathew in Kochi yesterday in a sensational murder case.
The murder of Neeraj Amarnath Grover, 25, creative head of Synergy Adlabs has shaken the whole kannada film industry. According to sources, Monica has confessed the crime after two days of interrogation. Apparently, Jerome killed Neeraj with a kitchen knife. The two later chopped the body into about 300 pieces, shoved them into two sports bags, and burned and dumped the body in a remote location.
Neeraj was brutally hacked to death on May 7 at Monica’s apartment in Mumbai’s Suburban Malad. The Suburban Mumbai Police, who had registered a case of missing, interrogated the watchman of the apartment. Based on the information given by him, the Police took Maria Monica and Jerome Mathew into custody.
